Register Your Goat with MGR (Myotonic Goat Registry)
If you are not a member of MGR, and do not want to join, but do want the kid you just reserved/purchased to be registered, then no worries. All you need to do is let us know what you want to name them. The $15 covers the pictures needed, postage, and MGR registration fee. Once we receive the registration from MGR, we will sign the transfer of ownership and send it your way. Please note...this is not a service offered to register any goat you have with MGR, but only one you are getting from us.Â
Microchip Your Goat
Protect your goat from loss or theft by having them microchipped before taking them home. For just $20 we can implant the new smallest sized chip available and register it with Found Animals Microchip Registry. This is not the same as MGR registration, but does allow your goat to be identified and returned to you if anything happens to it, as well as used as identification when showing your goat.
Sassafras
This sweet girl was born out of B6221 Tippy Goat Farms Lucy and sired by B9965 Liberty Farm Cocoa Puff on 4/8/14. She is horned with brown eyes and mostly white in color with a couple of peach patches around her face, bum, and legs. She loves to be hand fed and scratched behind her ears and sticks to us like glue when we are outside. Her coat is growing quite well and if we breed her in the future, we may register her with both MGR and MSFGA as a mini silky fainting goat.

This little girl was born on December 4th in a set of twins. They are small now, and will be small adults, as their mother is one of the smaller females we have. She is brown/white but may develop moonspots as she grows older...time will tell. She has brown eyes and has horn buds already forming, so she will be horned as an adult. Her and her brother are a bit shy around us still, but that will change as she is handled more. This would be a great goat to get if you wanted to add some color to your herd.

This guy was born on December 2nd. He is larger than one of his brothers, and smaller than the other, so we consider him the middle child. When he was born the thing that stood out the most to us was his vivid moonspots. Normally we have seen them develop in other kids as they mature, and it is even rarer for them to be so visible at birth, so we are very happy to be able to offer him to someone, as he would make an excellent herd sire when he grows up.

When he was born they were marbled, but as he has developed we have noticed that they turned, which does happen. He is polled(naturally hornless). His mother is very clingy when we come to the barn, and practically insists on getting fed at least a little by hand when we are putting feed out. His father is the most easy going male I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He walks right behind and to the side like a dog on heel.

We found horn buds poking up on Snoopy, so it is official...he will be horned. After recently going to the movies the kids of course thought this guy reminded them of Snoopy, hence the name. I think he looks more like the RCA Jack Russell terrier sitting in front of the Victrola, but that is way before their time...lol.
